EdgeMaster™ II Features - Importing a Setup

EdgeMaster II is capable of importing a setup that has been exported from another program. By importing a setup, EdgeMaster II eliminates the time it takes to enter a setup by hand and reduces errors that can occur while manually entering the setup.

EdgeMaster II can import a delimited file or a file that has one value per line from any third party source. (See file layout.)

Setting up EdgeMaster II to import a setup is a snap. All that is needed is to select the fields to import and put them in the order that they will be in the file.  That’s it.

Import any value that is necessary to make a setup, including coil values, mult sizes and quantities, +/- tolerance, customer names, and more.

If using SWiM, each mult size will be compared against the historical data to determine if it should be adjusted.

In the examples below, the imported fields are Order Number, Order Description, Coil Width, Coil Weight, Material Thickness, Tensile Strength, Mult Size (3 times), and Quantity (3 times).
